On Things Above

At On Things Above, we believe that the Holy Scriptures offer all the wisdom we need to navigate this life. On this site, you will find blog posts, books, and booklets on biblical topics ranging from prayer to figures of speech to the return of Christ. You’ll also find original artwork from our daughter, Kristin Stevens. Our goal is to help others set their thoughts on things above, not on things of this earth, for Christ is our life.

Ravi and Julia Hans have been married for more than 35 years and have taught God’s Word in home fellowships, online, in churches, and in seminars for nearly four decades. Ravi, an electrical engineer by trade, has taught the Bible in Canada, India, and the United States. Julia is a national award-winning essayist and college professor who has published two books on the Bible.

Their new book, Christ Jesus Our Hope: Living in Light of the Return of Christ, was released in May 2023.
